Fernando Navarro Castillo

Fernando Navarro Castillo brings over three decades of leadership in public accounting, financial planning, and investment advisory services. As Founder and Managing Partner of Finanxial Group, Fernando has built one of Puerto Rico’s most diversified professional services firms, now comprising over 60 professionals across auditing, taxation, investment, insurance, financial planning, and technology solutions.
With a strong entrepreneurial spirit, Fernando was instrumental in establishing the first CPA and Registered Investment Advisor firm in Puerto Rico—a pioneering move that set the foundation for Finanxial Group’s client-centric and growth-driven philosophy. His leadership is focused on strategic growth, service excellence, and innovation, while personally managing high-level client relationships and overseeing quality assurance across service lines.
Before founding Finanxial, Fernando served as Assistant Trust Officer at Oriental Bank & Trust, where he led the development of the retirement and financial planning division. He began his career at Ernst & Young, gaining valuable experience in taxation, auditing, and internal controls for international clients.
Fernando holds a BBA in Accounting with a Minor in Internal Audit from Louisiana State University (LSU), where he was selected as part of the inaugural class of the nation’s first internal audit program. He is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Financial Planner®, Personal Financial Specialist, and Certified Internal Auditor. He also holds licenses in securities and insurance, including the Series 7, 24, and 63.
Fernando has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Financial Planners in the U.S. by the Consumer Research Council of America and has received several awards including the Zenit Finance Award and the CPA Distinguished Community Service Award. He is actively involved in community service through leadership roles in nonprofit organizations and continues to advocate for financial literacy and responsible wealth management.

Edward R. Barros
CPA/CRPS Executive Director & Senior Investment Advisor Finanxial Investment Advisor, Corp
Edward brings more than three decades of experience in wealth management, financial planning, and retirement plan consulting. As a Senior Investment Advisor Edward oversees a group of dedicated professionals in the delivery of wealth management services as well as closely working with Ferando in the development of investment strategies for clients.
Before joining Finanxial Group, Edward held key roles in mayor financial and insurance institutions including Director of Wealth Planning for UBS Financial Services, Head of Retirement Plan Sales & Services for UBS Trust Company of Puerto Rico and Director of Annuity Investment Products for Universal Life Insurance Company. Edward Co-founded with Fernando the first CPA and Registered Investment Advisory firm, which provided the foundation for today’s investment services for Finanxial Group.
Edward holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting, is a Certified Public Accountant, holds the Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist designation, is a Series 7 and 66 FINRA registered representative and holds Puerto Rico Life Insurance & Annuity license.
Andrés Morgado Nácer, Esq
CPA/PFS, CFP® President, Finanxial Group
With over 40 years of experience in financial planning, investment advisory, and fiduciary services, Andrés Morgado Nácer is recognized as one of Puerto Rico’s leading experts in retirement and wealth management. As President of Finanxial Asset Management Corp., he oversees a group of affiliated firms offering a full suite of financial services, including retirement planning, tax advisory, insurance, investment management, and IT consulting.
Throughout his distinguished career, Andrés has held key leadership positions including Trust President at Westernbank Puerto Rico and Executive Vice President at Oriental Bank & Trust. He also served as Vice President at Drexel Burnham Lambert’s Institutional Group and began his career as a Tax Manager at Deloitte.
He is an attorney, Certified Public Accountant, Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®), and Personal Financial Specialist (PFS). In addition to holding securities and insurance licenses, he is an active member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), the Puerto Rico Society of CPAs, and serves on various nonprofit and public boards. His accolades include the Rafael Fábregas Award for community service and recognition as a Distinguished CPA in the Banking Industry.

Marisela Saez
Retirement Plans Manager – Finanxial Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist®
With over 25 years of experience in the retirement planning industry, Marisela Saez has built a solid career helping individuals and organizations secure their financial future. She has held key roles at major financial institutions including Oriental Bank (Branch Manager), Westernbank (Retirement Plans Specialist), and Scotiabank, where she served as Senior Retirement Plan Specialist. Today, she leads the Retirement Plans division at Finanxial, bringing deep industry knowledge and a strategic approach to every client relationship.
Marisela holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and a Master’s in Finance from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. She also completed specialized training at the College for Financial Planning in Denver, earning the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist® designation.
